Amplication is Introducing the Community Champions ProgramAmplication is Introducing the Community Champions Program

The first commit in the Amplication repository was on February 26, 2020. So, after two and a half years and 11,000 (wow!) commits made by the team and community, we're proud of the product we've built and the community surrounding us. It's an incredible place to be, and we wouldn't be there if it weren't for our fantastic community. So, for that, we'd like to say thank you.

champions

We want to elevate and recognize some of our most engaged members in this open-source development community, which is why today we're excited to announce the Amplication Champions Program.

Champions are our community members who love to help others and can contribute their expertise to the program. They've shown expertise in the Amplication product and the tools used to build Amplication. They make regular and impactful contributions to the codebase. They are always ready to help members of the community with whatever they do.

Today we are launching this program with a shoutout to two heavy-hitters from the Amplication community, Mohammed Agboola, and Mohamed Muhsin Kamil.

Mohammed Agboola is a talented engineer with a background in designing and building responsive web applications. He's proficient in various JavaScript frameworks and has extensive knowledge of user experience and software design patterns.

Mohamed Muhsin Kamil is an established software engineer with a goal, and I quote, "to create a meaningful impact with less chaos." He's well versed in TypeScript, React, and Node, but he is always trying new technologies and is staying ahead of the curve!

If you're interested in joining this program, be sure to join our Discord community. There you'll find like-minded developers, members of the core team, and the Amplication Champions. From there, you may be referred to the program by either a core team member or a Champion.
